Dincer CAGIN earned his Engineering degree from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, and his Master of Engineering degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville.
He worked as the senior electronics engineer at the airport for developing the systems. In the 80s he served as the President of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Electrical Engineers for five years.
He worked as the project coordinator and project engineer for the Nicosia SOS Children’s village and then the founding president of the SOS Nicosia Children’s Village Association.
He has been a member of the board and shareholder of the company ÜN Import Export Co. Ltd., since 1981 which imports, installs, and maintains elevators from one of the leading brands.
He is married to Aydin Cagin, and they have two daughters and one grandson, and two granddaughters.
Dincer joined Rotary in 1995 in Nicosia Sarayonu RC where he served as a board member, treasurer, secretary, executive secretary, and then as the President of the Club in the Rotary Centennial year 2004-2005.
At District Level served as an Assistant Governor, Country Foundation Committee member, Membership Development Country Committee Chair, Assistant Governor Coordinator for Cyprus, Deputy District Governor for Cyprus 2015-16, District 2452 Alumni Chair, District 2452 Rotary Action Groups Chair. He is currently serving as the Country Foundation Committee Chair.
At the RI level, he has served as the Assistant Rotary Regional Foundation Coordinator for Zone20B (now 21b) from 2017-2020
